king edwards bay is at the south end of tynemouth beach. Just go down the stairs to the left of the gibraltar rock pub, Nice easy to fish beach that will have a few good codling in the winter months. you can fish from the prom to the left of the beach onto the rocks, Or go to the right onto castle rocks, But both these marks are heavy ground all baits will catch a fish in this area
