Chomper

The Chomper is a shallow working ‘chop bait' weighted nose forward that floats at rest. It can be popped and worked gently just under the surface with slow gentle twitches of the rod tip. Alternatively, it can be worked erratically down to around 2m and paused, to let the lure rise slowly in the water, a method that is highly effective at producing takes. Great for working over or around weed beds and cover during the spring and summer months, the Chomper's also excellent for seeking out active fish in extensive shallows.
